Martina Tombesi (Tucumán, Argentina) is a visual artist based in Turin, Italy. She holds a BFA in Fine Arts from the National University of Tucumán. In 2023, she emigrated to Italy, where she currently lives and develops her artistic practice.

Her work focuses on the representation of uninhabited everyday spaces—places we encounter daily, such as waiting rooms, parking lots, or transit areas, which are typically bustling with activity. When presented empty, their habitual function is suspended, and the mundane acquires an intimate, slightly uncanny quality. Since 2025, she has been developing Liminalgia, a project that delves into these explorations through the notions of liminality and nostalgia.
