Martina Tombesi (Tucumán, Argentina) is an Argentine-Italian visual artist based in Turin, Italy. She holds a BFA in Fine Arts, with a focus on painting, from the National University of Tucumán. In 2023, she emigrated to Italy, where she currently develops her artistic practice.

Her painting practice explores unoccupied, functional everyday spaces and how their perception shifts in the absence of human presence. Through transit and transitional environments, she investigates ordinary places that, when emptied, lose their habitual function and acquire an intimate, slightly uncanny quality. Since 2025, she has been developing Liminalgia, a project that extends these ideas through notions of liminality and nostalgia.
